An order of battle, 1762. Seven Years War (1756-63).

The order of battle, under the command of King George III, is in two lines, the Corps de Reserve in the rear, the Artillery between the first and second lines. The regimental rectangles are coloured according to the uniform.

The General Officers of the First Line, under Field Marshal Lord Viscount Ligonier, are Lieutenant-Generals Carr, Earl of Effingham, Duke of Argyll, and Earl of Ancram; Major-Generals Webb and Durand.

The Second Line is commanded by Lieutenant-Generals the Earl of Delaware, Ld Robert Bertie, and Kingsley, and Major-General Hodgson. The Corps of Reserve is under the command of Major-General Sir John Griffin. The 'Disposition of the remaining Forces' is given in the left and right margins: On the Queen's Duty, At the Tower, Dover Castle, Dover Town, Chatham Barracks, Sissinghurst Duty, Hilsea Barracks, Portsmouth, Fareham Dutry, Winchester Duty, Land Guard Fort, Norwich & Yarmouth, At Plymouth, On the Western Division, On the Northern Division.
