A map of the actions between part of the Allied army and the French at Sandershausen and Lutterberg on 23 July and 10 October 1758. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with north to top (compass rose).

Two paper flaps are pasted to the base map, each showing different troop positions. The pasting positions are indicated by pecked lines on the base map.

Additional text: [top left, in rococo cartouche, a key to the movements and actions of the troops, A-I, K:] l'Affaire de SANGERSHAUSEN. [and, another key to the actions and movements of troops, L-T, V-X, Z, AA-DD:] l'Affaire de LUTTERNBERG.

Condition: no fold lines; crisp image from what is probably an early pull from the copperplates; guarded into volume.
