      A map of the encampment of the Allied army under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine at Zonhoven, 25-26 July 1746. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with south to top.

      The march from the camp at Peer to Zonhoven was about 14 km (8.6 miles). The encampment is sited on the heathland between Hasselt (50°55'51"N 05°20'16"E) and Zonhoven. The Austrians, English, Hanoverians, Hessians and Dutch have been joined by a Corps de Reserve.
