A map of encampments at Sendheath, 1759-62. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with north to top (cardinal points).

The facing page (RCIN 731068.v) lists the regiments for the camps for each year from 1759 to 1762. The encamped regiments in 1759, under the command of Lieutenant-General the Earl of Ancram, are: 8th King's Own; 34th Effingham's; 33rd Lord Charles Hay's; 5th Bentinck's. The encamped regiments for 1760, under the command of Lieutenant-General the Earls of Ancram and Albemarle, and Cornwallis, are: 30th Loudon's; 36th Lord Robert Manners's; 72nd Duke of Richmond's. The encamped regiments for 1761, under the command of Lieutenant-General Cornwallis and Carr, are: 34th Cavendish's; 72nd Duke of Richmond's; Bedfordshire. The encamped regiments for 1762, under the command of Lieutenant-General Carr, are: 31st Holmes's; 36th Manners's; E. Bat. Suffolk.

Difference in title; the Add MS copy also shows, in black ink superimposed on the camp layout, the camp of 1759; some small differences in field boundaries; different cartographer; the Add MS copy is more polished in appearance.
