A plan of encampment at Barham, 1757 and 1760. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with west to top (cardinal points).

The facing page (RCIN 731068.g) lists the encamped regiments. The 1757 camp took place from 27 June to 25 September. The encamped regiments in 1757, under the command of the Duke of Marlborough and Major-General Waldegrave are: 5th Bentinck's; 15th Amherst's; 30th Loudon's; 34th Effingham's; 36th Ld Robt Manners's. The 1760 encamped regiments, under the command of Lieutenant-Generals Campbell, Conway and Kingsley are: 14th Jefferey's; 21st Panmure's; 19th Beauclerk's.
